How To Use Krya Anti Lice Hair Oil
For Active Lice Infestation
When there is an active lice attack with visible lice or many attached nits, we recommend using the oil 2–3 times a week initially.
Step 1 — Apply the Oil Generously
Apply the Anti Lice Hair Oil generously across:
- the scalp
- behind the ears
- the nape of the neck
- along the hair length
Make sure the scalp and roots are well covered.
Step 2 — Comb Systematically
Immediately after application, comb the hair section by section using a fine-toothed lice comb.
This step is extremely important.
The oil helps:
- loosen lice
- soften attached nits
- make combing easier and gentler
The lice comb physically removes loosened lice and nits from the hair.
Comb over a white tissue or cloth so you can clearly see what is being removed during each combing session.
Pay special attention to:
- behind the ears
- the crown area
- the nape of the neck
These are common areas where lice and nits collect.
Step 3 — Wash the Hair
After combing, wash the hair using the Krya Anti Lice Hair Wash Powder.
The wash powder acts as a supportive cleansing step and helps repeatedly expose the scalp to bitter, scalp-cleansing Ayurvedic herbs during treatment.
For Chronic or Repeated Lice Cycles
If the lice problem is severe or repeatedly returning:
- use the oil 2–3 times weekly as described above
- additionally apply a very small amount as a leave-on scalp oil between washes
This helps:
- discourage recurring lice
- repeatedly expose the scalp to bitter Ayurvedic herbs
- support scalp comfort during prolonged treatment
This leave-on approach is especially useful when:
- there are too many nits to remove in one session
- combing has been incomplete
- lice repeatedly return through school exposure
During Treatment: Important Family Hygiene Steps
Lice can spread very easily within families.
Even a small number of remaining lice may restart the cycle through repeated egg laying.
While treating one child, we recommend taking preventive measures across the household.
We recommend:
- checking and oiling siblings or close family members as a precaution
- washing pillowcases, bedsheets, towels, caps, and clothing regularly
- sanitising combs, clips, brushes, and hair accessories
- washing fabrics using a good-quality detergent such as the Krya Natural Lemon Detergent
- drying fabrics thoroughly in strong sunlight whenever possible
These steps help make the environment less supportive for recurring lice cycles.
Maintenance Ritual After Lice Removal
Even after the visible lice and nits are removed, we recommend continuing maintenance scalp oiling for at least one month.
Maintenance Routine
- apply a small quantity of Anti Lice Hair Oil to the scalp 2–3 times weekly
- leave on the scalp as a light protective oiling ritual
- continue occasional lice combing if required
This ongoing maintenance ritual helps:
- discourage reinfestation
- support long-term scalp hygiene
- reduce the chances of recurring school-related lice cycles
Because the formulation contains no synthetic insecticides, it is suitable for repeated long-term family use when required.

Our Formulation Philosophy
Unlike many conventional lice products, Krya Anti Lice Hair Oil does not rely on a single synthetic “active ingredient”.
Instead, the formulation combines:
- bitter Ayurvedic herbs traditionally used to discourage recurring lice
- naturally saponin-rich herbs that help loosen buildup and attached nits
- gel-forming herbs that support scalp comfort during repeated treatment
- nourishing cold-pressed oils that improve ease of combing and prolonged scalp contact
This allows the formulation to remain:
- gentle enough for repeated family use
- supportive for sensitive scalps
- reassuring for parents managing recurring lice cycles in children
This makes it one of the few truly non-toxic, Ayurvedic lice treatments designed for safe repeated family use — without compromising on ingredient transparency.
