Questions and answers of the customers
Q The mask is difficult to spread. How is one expected to use, can it be diluted with oil instead of waterA Hi - We recommend using this only on well oiled hair. Are you using this way. Also, we recommend mixing the mask overnight in an iron bowl - as the ingredients interact with water the consistency becomes creamier and gel like making it easier to spread. Do try this and let us know how it works>
A Please read our answer above on the difference between hair wash and hair mask. How to use an ayurvedic hair mask: 1. Mask must be used on well oiled hair and scalp 2. Soak the Mask overnight in an iron bowl 3. In the morning after oiling and detangling hair apply the mask carefully onto the scalp by partitioning hair well in sections 4. Allow the mask to stay on hair until it begins to dry 5. Rinse out with plain water and then follow up with the hair wash.
A An ayurvedic hair mask is designed to do the following: unclog the fine pores (srotas) of the scalp, stimulate the scalp, and prepare the scalp to receive nourishment in the form of our hair oils. So the action of the hair mask is completely upon the scalp to clarify, deep cleanse, simulate circulation, etc. It does not cleanse scalp and hair as well as the hair wash does. It serves a different purpose (which we have explained above) in your ideal hair care regimen. This particular product, the Classic Plus hair Mask also works to balance aggravated Pitta dosha. So it helps when you have severe premature greying or hair thinning. So each of our hair masks in addition to the above are also designed to work on specific hair concerns. A mask is recommended once a week or once a fortnight - a hairwash is recommended twice a week. Hope this clarifies?
